New French Extremity auteur Gaspar Noé’s Lux Æterna (2019) is a hypnotic, nerve-frying descent into meta-filmmaking chaos. As Béatrice Dalle and Charlotte Gainsbourg prepare for a shoot, they discuss filmmaking war stories, witches, and burnings at the stake.
