synopsis

Bob (Damon Packard), an obese watch-seller dying of sucrose intolerance, is the hero of this '00s extreme cult oddity that Henry Rollins calls “nothing short of genius." Bob survives by tramping the streets of LA, selling watches to anyone who will listen to his apologetic sales pitch and his days are repeatedly punctuated by irrational rage and displays of self-loathing. His family life is no better. Bob is constantly berated by his mother for being so weak-willed and his sister, who died in the 1970s from a PCP overdose, is trying to contact him from beyond. To make matters even worse, Bob is haunted by the vision of a woman wandering the streets, looking anxious in a pink negligee. The woman and Bob will finally meet in a climactic finale at Universal Studios!
