synopsis
A holy grail among kaiju fans, Space Monster Wangmagwi is a 1967 South Korean kaiju film that was long thought to be lost until an original print emerged out of the blue recently. Directed by Gwon Hyeok-jin (The Swordsman), this big creature flick features aliens from another world who seek the conquest of Earth with a flying saucer invasion and unleash a gigantic monster called Wangmagwi (Big Devil), who destroys everything in its path. Sci-Fi Japan calls it “the most sought after of obscure unreleased kaiju movies." It has never been released anywhere in the world, on either physical or digital media, until now!
