synopsis
SpaceDisco One (2007) is a delirious 45-minute fusion of retro-futurist spectacle and meta-cinema, imagined as both a lost sequel to 1984 and Logan’s Run. At its center are two glitter-clad heroines, Stargirl 7 and Frances 8, who roller-skate across a colossal starship designed as a hedonistic roller rink, their movements captured in a faux “behind-the-scenes” documentary that blurs the line between production and performance.
