The original Blisterpop band from Wichita, Kansas. The Embarrassment performs a lively set from a party held at their rehearsal space in 1982, featuring John Nichols (vocals/keyboards), Bill Goffrier (guitar/vocals), Ron Klaus (bass), and Brent ‘Woody’ Geissmann (drums/vocals). The Boston based band Big Dipper recorded during their 1988 tour of Europe. Featuring former Volcano Suns members, bassist Steve Michener (also in Dumptruck) and guitarist/vocalist Gary Waleik, guitarist/vocalist Bill Goffrier (formerly of the Embarrassment) and drummer Jeff Oliphant (formerly of XS and the Iron Gerbils). The Escape’ Drive-in was a large-scale outdoor movie show held in Vinland, Kansas during the early 1990s. The show was a mix of live music, performance, and so classic old movies. This video is a compilation of the shows including some of the best live groups and films. Hosted by Anne Tangeman.
