synopsis
Dawn of an Evil Millennium (1988–90) is a 20-minute Super 8 apocalyptic fever dream that blends pulp detective noir with cosmic horror and splintered sci-fi mythology. On the rain-slick trail of a demon hurled from another world, hard-bitten investigator Frank Bift (a nod to Blade Runner’s Deckard) chases a shape-shifting being that fractures on arrival—half good, half pure evil. A nightmare road movie colliding detective tropes, occult horror, and satirical genre pastiche, the film charts not the victory of man over monster, but the inevitability of chaos roaring toward the new millennium.
