The teenage axe prodigy was launched from obscurity to global fame nearly overnight, Rowan played on and toured only one LP with the Ronnie James’ outfit, Lock Up the Wolves, released in 1990. He’s kept busy with various creative endeavors over the years that include the Oni Logan project, Violet’s Demise. The band's first full-length album, produced by Rivers Cuomo, Radioactive, was released on Elektra in 2003. It included the single "Taken for a Ride" which appeared on the video game soundtrack for EA Sports' John Madden Football 2003 and was featured on an episode of One Tree Hill. Since May 2011, Rowan has served as a columnist for Intense Guitar and Bass magazine. He has also teamed up with longtime Black Sabbath keyboardist Geoff Nicholls in The Southern Cross. After a long residence in Las Vegas, where he was a featured member of the successful Raiding the Rock Vault troupe, Rowan relocated back to his Mother England in 2025.
