Decline of Western Civilization Part Two: The Metal Years was Penelope Spheeris’ followup to the original Decline. Shifting her focus to Los Angeles’ metal scene and the clubs and bands that supported it, The Metal Years features interviews with stars like Ozzy, Lemmy and Megadeth, while also turning its eye to a number of aspiring club bands like London, many of whose members would go on to play in acts like Mötley Crue and Guns ‘n’ Roses.
