synopsis
In between the goofy horrors of The Naked Witch and The Eye Creatures, cult director Larry Buchanan tackled nothing less than the killing of President John F. Kennedy by showing what THE TRIAL OF LEE HARVEY OSWALD might have been like had Oswald lived to defend himself. Film in Dallas shortly after the assassination - before the results of The Warren Report and the flood of various conspiracy theories - “The testimony, evidence and facts that you will see and hear were obtained from public records and from eyewitness to the events.” Surprisingly, the issue here is not whether Oswald was a lone gun man but rather if he was crazy or not: “The defendant suffers from a major mental disorder!
