William Friedkin started his career at the age of 16 as a mail room boy at WGN-TV and ultimately became one of the most important American filmmakers of the 70s and beyond. In this documentary, the director of The Exorcist and The French Connection is interviewed about his career, and a number of colleagues and admirers weigh in with reminiscences and tributes, including Wes Anderson, Dario Argento, Quentin Tarantino, Ellen Burstyn, and more.
