SubGenius Commercial for MTV
1991 : 1 minute
This video is only available with Night Flight+.
Director: Reverand Ivan Stang
synopsis
In 1991, MTV commissioned Rev. Ivan Stang — who stars here, and directs — to make a commercial for Church of the SubGenius for their "Art Break" series of shorts. It was filmed by the same people who had put out THE BOOK OF THE SUBGENIUS in 1982. Night Flight used to air 10-minute clips from the SubGenius film "Arise!" (then in progress), although they renamed the segments "Love that "Bob."
